#3: Feeding my kid.
I know, this is kind of a thing you have to do, not the kind of thing that generally makes you overly happy. But it really does! Especially when I can give her healthy things. Since I've been back home, I've been trying really hard to cook everything from scratch and omit the good stuff like heavy cream, lots of butter, and too much pasta. (We kind of have a thing for pasta.) And it just feels so good to take care of her.
I love making these lunch tins for a once-in-a-while treat. Mostly healthy stuff like fruit and nuts and cheese and yogurt, but some fund stuff like goldfish crackers too. She really can't eat this much of course, but it makes a nice afternoon snack for the rest of us!
